Over 400 March in Protest Against Death Sentence of 529 Members of the Muslim Brotherhood

KUALA LUMPUR, 28 Mar: Over 400 Muslims marched to the Egyptian Embassy here to protest against the death sentence on 529 members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The demonstration condemning the cruelty of the El-Sisi regime was organised by the Malaysian PAS Youth and supported by 56 other non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

Participants began the march after the Friday prayers at Hotel De Palma Ampang before moving towards the Egyptian Embassy while controlled by the PAS Unit Amal.

Among the political leaders present was the PAS Youth Chief, Suhaizan Kayat; the Keadilan Youth (AMK) Chief, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin and the PAS Vice President, Salahuddin Ayub.

They also carried placards saying ‘Malaysia 4 Egypt’, ‘Pray For EG529’ and the picture of the former Egyptian President who was overthrown, Mohammed Morsi.
