CM continues tradition of distributing free ‘bubur lambuk’

CHERAS, 6 JULY: Earlier today at Tesco Extra supermarket, Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim continues the tradition during every Ramadhan by handing out free ‘bubur lambuk’ for the public as a delicacy to break fast.

Plenty of residents did not miss out on their chance of collecting the ‘bubur lambuk’ which is distributed by Abdul Khalid himself, as they were already queuing at Tesco’s main entrance since 4 in the evening.

As many as 2,000 packets of beef and chicken flavoured ‘bubur lambuk’ were distributed to the public in a period of an hour and a half.

“I would like to thank Tesco for providing a platform such as this, in distributing ‘bubur lambuk’ every year to its customers.”

“It is a very noble deed plus it reminds us the meaning of Ramadan and can unite people of all races,” said Abdul Khalid, who is also Bandar Tun Razak’s Member of Parliament (MP).

The distribution of ‘bubur lambuk’ was not limited only to Muslims, but it was also given to all customers comprising of different races and ages.
