SHAH ALAM, 30 July: The Selangor PAS has guaranteed to remain committed and loyal to the established cooperation with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and DAP in the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) consensus.
Selangor PAS Secretary, Mohd Khairuddin Othman, said that the observations made by the Central PAS Research Operation (PPP) Director, Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki, were personally done and that it was never discussed with the Selangor PAS.
“Selangor PAS has no knowledge about the observations made by Dr Zuhdi. There was no discussion on the matter and the Selangor PAS is committed and loyal to PR.
“We assure our partners in PA that the Selangor PAS will remain loyal, like our previous stand,” he said in a press statement to Selangor Kini.
Mohd Khairuddin also expressed his confidence that the observations made by Dr Zuhdi will not have any effect on the Selangor PAS.
He said that previously, Selangor PAS did not have any records of Assemblymen who jumped party or shifted their support to Barisan Nasional (BN).
In a related development, Dr Zuhdi, in a press statement, said that his statement on the issue of PAS leaving PR, as recently spread, was just a response to the request of members in a group discussion on Whatsapp by the Central PAS Committee which wanted his to submit all existing analysis scenarios.
