SHAH ALAM, 5 Sept: The Selangor government decided that the objection period for the Petaling Jaya Local Plan Draft 1 (Variation 2) and the Petaling Jaya Local Plan Draft 2 (Variation 2) will be extended.
The Selangor State Executive Councillor in charge of Housing, Building Management and Urban Settlers, Iskandar Abdul Samad, said that this was decided during the Exco meeting on Wednesday.
“The original deadline for objections was September 5 and it has been extended to four more weeks.
“This provides an opportunity for more people to make objections or give their views,” he said in a press statement today.
Iskandar said that the objections on the draft were accepted since August 7 and the period has been extended due to the rapid development in the city.
