Exco: Restore public confidence in Pakatan

KLANG, 26 Sept: The Assemblyman for Chempaka, Iskandar Abdul Samad wants the people’s confidence in Pakatan Rakyat to be fully restored after enduring a political crisis for almost nine months.

He said that many agendas must be continued to defend the fate of the people.

“The time is now to look forward,” said Iskandar after the swearing in ceremony and pledge, as well as the presentation of the Exco appointment letter at the Balairung Seri, Istana Alam Shah, Klang today.

The Assemblyman for Seri Kembangan, Ean Yong Hian Wah, said that he hopes to work with the Exco line-up and the new Chief Minister to ensure that the welfare of the people is implemented immediately.

“I want to thank HRH and the Chief Minister for appointing me as a new Exco member,” he said.

The Assemblywoman for Bukit Lanjan, Elizabeth Wong, said that now everyone needs to look forward and work harder for the people of Selangor.

“There is a lot of work we need to accomplish for the people, thank you for the trust of HRH the Sultan and also our new Chief Minister,” he said.

The Assemblyman for Seri Setia, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, said that he promises to perform the duties of an Exco member as best possible.

“This is a heavy responsibility. Thank you for the trust given by the Chief Minister and PKR,” he said.
