SHAH ALAM, 28 Jan: The revamp of the State Team Committee and the International Competition Team is being conducted by the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) to boost and ensure excellence of the Selangor football team.
The FAS President, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the committee functions by selecting players, competitions in the state and internationally.
“This is our first meeting under the committee. According to the FAS rules under Article 45, we are revamping it due to feedback received from football fans who have demanded for a change or revamp to be done.
“We understand the complaints of the supporters, so changes in the committee, which consists of old and new faces, would certainly bring back the glory of the team,” he said, taken from Sinar Harian.
Mohamed Azmin said that he explained that the Exco line-up was appointed to join the committee will meet the fan’s club to obtain feedback and suggestions.
“We will make this move in the near future after we announce the Exco line-up of the committee members,” he said.
