SHAH ALAM, 13 SEPT: The attempt by a pro-Umno non-governmental organisation (NGO) against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, to a point of wanting to go to the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) De facto Leader’s house is a tactic to gain support as the Umno elections approach this October.

PKR Communications Director, Fahmi Fadzil, said that a police report will be made against the Chairman of the Malaysian Malay Network (JMM), Azwanddin Hamezah, for trying to bother Anwar’s privacy and create chaos.

“The ‘desperado’ act by the Chairman of JMM is a nuisance and is not productive.

“While the country is discussing the deteriorating economy, the increasing price of oil and goods, and the chronic corruption, this organisation is busy with drama,” he said in a press statement yesterday.

Yesterday, Azwinddin stated his intention to visit Anwar’s home to demand for Bank Negara to reveal his bank account.

The issue was brought up by him following claims by the former BN Permatang Pauh Parliamentary candidate, Mazlan Ismail who allegedly said that DAP Chairman, Karpal Singh received legal feed that are too high to bribe judges.
