SHAH ALAM, AUG 22: Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) is organising ‘Kayuhan Santai Jalur Gemilang’ to cultivate patriotism and nationalism within the community in conjunction with the celebration of our independence month, this 2016.
The program will be held in Ampang Point compound, starting from 7.30 a.m. on September 29.
Corporate Communications Officer Norhayati Ahmad said the programme will be also held to instil love for the country and guide people towards self-motivation and positivity.
“Besides, it also provides the opportunity to private companies and non-governmental organisations to contribute to the community through corporate social responsibility (CSR).
“It also strengthens the relationship between MPAJ and locals,” she said in her media statement here on Aug 22.
She said that programmes of this nature also introduces Ampang as a tourist destination, as well as create more sustainable programs with the Local Agenda 21 (LA21) characteristics.
