SHAH ALAM, 29 Dec: PANTAS goes to Perak with four 4X4 and a three-tonne lorry to deliver donated goods to flood victims.
Its Chairperson, Hamsah Djabir, said among the places that they will visit is the evacuation centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Sayong, Kuala Kangsar, with 351 flood victims.
“We will distribute donated items at the evacuation centres and nearby areas.
“We also want to distribute donated items to the evacuation centre in Lenggong, which places 93 flood victims. The same in Gerik,” he said in a statement.
He appealed to volunteers and contributors to cooperate by providing assistance to flood victims.
“We have also launched the PANTAS Volunteer Mission to go to the East Coast. A team will be leaving tonight to Terengganu. The main operation centres in Terengganu and Pahang have been identified,” he said.
