MBSA has a solution regarding the road closure at Taman Bukit Saga, Tanah Merah

SHAH ALAM, 31 MAY : The Infrastructure Committee of Shah Alam City Council(MBSA) has found a solution regarding the road closure issue affecting Taman Bukit Saga and Tanah Merah.

Shah Alam City Mayor, Datuk Mohd Jaafar Mohd Atan told Selangor Kini, a collective decision was agreed and will be presented soon.

“We presented the issue in the Infrastructure Committee meeting and came to a solution.

“I will need to review the results of the discussion and will request the engineers to submit a complete report regarding it,” he said when contacted.”

It was said that local residents were upset over the MBSA decision to close the road at Jalan Bukit Hijau, nearby the Shell fuel station.

This is because the residents returning to their homes from Puchong will need to make a U-turn at the traffic light junction nearby the F&N factory.

The road is known to be heavily utilised as a short-cut from Persiaran Klang towards Puchong by many vehicles including lorries.

The issue had the attention of Shah Alam Member of Parliament; Khalid Shamid who has suggested that a new U-turn needs to be constructed at the traffic light junction in front of the Hicom factory. This is for the convenience of residents heading to their residential areas without needing them to make a U-turn at a further distance.

The location has been identified as a border between the jurisdiction of MBSA and Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ).
