Hamas urged Muslim countries to gather to proclaim solidarity

SHAH ALAM, 10 July: Hamas reminded Muslims to not just look at what is being done by the Israeli Zionist military to the Palestinians.

The Hamas Political Bureau Chief, Khaled Meshaal, said that Arab and Islamic countries, especially Egypt, are urged to assemble to express support for Palestinians who are being killed.

“Ramadan has always been a month of victory for Muslims. Ramadan 1976 saw victory for the Egyptian people and their army against Israel. We want your support,” he said in an interview on television in Qatar, Doha.

According to Harakah Daily, Meshaal also blamed the Jewish country for beginning the invasion.

“The Palestinians have the right to defend themselves,” he said.

Since July 7, Israel launched a massive air assault on Palestine and killed over 53 martyrs, including women and children.

Activists claim that the military regime used weapons of mass destruction banned by the international community.

Meshaal said that the defence will continue to be responsible for defending the land of Palestine.

“We are not threatening anyone, but we have the right to defend ourselves.

“Israel can only blame themselves and their leaders for any subsequent action that will take place,” he said.
