Factory owners praise Subang Jaya Assemblyman’s commitment in helping obtain property rights

SUBANG JAYA, 5 Feb: After over a decade of fighting for her individual rights to her factory, Faridaza Jan Gulam Khan was relieved when the hard work paid off today.

Recalling her efforts and her friends, Faridza, 52, who runs a business in Information Technology (IT) praised the commitment of the Subang Jaya Assemblyman, Hannah Yeoh, and the developer.

“The difference is that the parties involved previously were irresponsible and merely in the spur of the moment.

“Now, we can see Hannah and her team being determined and that have found a formula to facilitate our business until we successfully obtained property rights legally,” she told Selangor Kini.

Prior to this, she and 178 other factory owners at the USJ1 Subang Industrial Park received their individual rights that were presented by Hannah at a ceremony at the SS15 Multipurpose Hall today.

Meanwhile, a retired teacher, Rohaya Samad, 58, who has two factory lots, is now more confident to submit an application to obtain property rights.

“When my late husband was still alive until he died, we were often disappointed when our attempts were not successful and our money went to waste.

“But, after witnessing the ceremony personally today, I will definitely continue to fight for my husband in ensuring that the title is obtained, just like our friends,” she said.

A total of 170 other owners that have still not completed the application have the opportunity to do so until this March.
