SHAH ALAM, 31 Mar: The success of the Selangor administration has become campaign material of a network of Sabah youth volunteers in gaining the support of 35,000 Sabahans residing in Selangor.

Sabahans who have been living in Selangor have been urged to continue to retain the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat Government, said Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

Meanwhile for those who are still voting in Sabah, they have been asked to return home to vote and to bring about change to the state which has been said to be erroneously administered by Umno-BN for 50 years.

The network of volunteers which will be mobilising under the Sabah NGO Coalition aims to enroll 1,000 participants, said Abdul Khalid.

“This is an effort to provide information and explanations to Sabahans who are working in Selangor so that the understand our success in Selangor.

“This is so they can maintain the Pakatan Rakyat administration in Selangor. If they are voting in Sabah, hopefully they will go back to Sabah and bring changes to the state.

“This is because our success in Selangor can also be implemented in Sabah,” said Abdul Khalid after socialising with Sabahans at the PKNS Complex here yesterday.

Also present was the Beaufort Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin.

Lajim said that the network will help PR in Sabah to form an administrative relationship between Sabah and Selangor when PR successfully forms government in Sabah.

“Of course we want to learn from the success in Selangor. Also how Selangor can bring about a change for the people of Selangor. (As well as) assistance and investments which can be generated and multiplied (by the Selangor PR).
