GOMBAK, 15 July: In the excitement and fun of watching the World Cup finals recently, the people have been reminded to not forget the suffering of Muslim brothers in Palestine who are currently being terrorised by the Zionist regime.
The Assemblyman for Gombak Setia, Hasbullah Ridzwan, said that all parties need to play a role by praying for the suffering of the residents in Gaza to end.
He said this to over 100 attendees of the World Cup 2014 Finals Big Screen Programme in front of the Sri Gombak Petron petrol station near here.
The programme organised by the Gombak Setia State Legislative Assembly Community Service Centre in collaboration with the Gombak PAS Youth Council began at 2.00 am to 6.30 am, with various interesting activities.
The programme began with prayers for Palestine, video viewings, the launching of the Palestinian Fund and then the viewing of the World Cup Finals.
In addition, there was a lucky draw before the Sahur was held before the programme ended with the dawn prayers.
