KAJANG, AUG 5S: Selangor Government’s success in providing the free Bas Smart Selangor service is due to strong finances and management that is transparent.

Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said the formula behind the programme’s success has not been emulated successfully by other states in Malaysia, nor at Federal level.

“There are services that give 50% discount provided by other governments, but that only lasts a month, but we provide free services indefinitely.

“There is also a state government that has tried to imitate us by preparing five buses but failed to maintain the service,” he said at the Bandar Putera Mahkota Community Hall Groundbreaking ceremony cum MPKj KJ02 and KJ03 Routes Launch recently.
